March, 15 & 16, 2017, two delegations headed respectively by Ms. Maureen Ulevich, Director of Center for International Education (CIE) of University of Northern Colorado (UNC), USA, and Prof. Sarah Culloty, Dean of School of Biological, Earth & Environmental Sciences (BEES) of University College Cork (UCC), ROI, paid a visit to QFNU, and the heads of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and the Hong Kong & Macao Education Research Center of QFNU met with the guests.
During the visit, Ms. Maureen Ulevich tested the English language proficiency of the undergraduates who had applied for further education in UNC, introduced the requirements and policies for international admissions and made in-depth exchanges with the teachers and students in the School of Foreign Languages.
The UCC delegation met with the heads of the School of life Sciences, and they exchanged ideas on joint training and scientific research cooperation. Prof. Paul Giller, Former Senior Vice President of UCC, delivered to the faculty and students of the School of Life Sciences a lecture on Biodiversity Crisis - Population Crisis. The head of UCC Beijing Office presented the possible cooperation programs to the students in the Confucius Hall.
